Great location, spacious yard, & coffee bar

Excellent Sray For Coffee and Beach Lovers Positive: OMG for the coffee and tea lovers this is pure heaven. I mean every type of equipment imaginable to make real coffee from keurig, French press and so much more. There was an entire station. Loved it. Plenty of linene. Huge space and loved tge beach theme and decorations. Beds were really comfortable. Kids loved the life-size plush octopus. The multiple decks and outdoor accommodations were fantastic. Easy check in amd check out process. Negative: We had to hand wash all the dishes because the bag of dishwasher pods was completely empty before we got there. Everything else was perfect. Smooth sailing. Loved the stay. Would stay again.

Positive: The amount of seating was awesome, the amount of towels provided was great and the location was good Negative: There were a few encounters with some spiders inside . One of the guest said that they woke up to a spider on their arm, they felt it crawling and killed it. I saw a spider on the wall in the front bedroom and killed it.

Came to Glaveston to celebrate our son's belated first birthday and had the perfect home to stay comfortable all wee Positive: Loved the location and the size of the home. Enjoyed the placement on the island as it was short travel time to wherever we went. Loved the bathrooms and the shower outside for after the beach...it had hot and cold water spouts which we felt was unique! The tv in the kid's room was perfect to play rain sounds for our son to sleep and the house was large enough that we could hang out in the dining area or living room without feeling like we would wake him which was great. The provided dishes and washing machine and dryer was great as we stayed for 5 days. We would love to stay again! Negative: We wanted our son to have the backyard to practice walking and to crawl around in, but the grass was too long. They did come and mow on Thursday morning which was great but woke us up. We also checked out Friday morning so it was a short amount of time we were able to play outside in the yard with him. There was also mildew/mold on the air vent in the dining area which was concerning as I have an auto-immune disorder and we also have a young child. I do understand being right next to the ocean equals high humidity and mold is easy to have but also would like it to have been cleaned before us being there. There was also trash from the previous fsmily that checked out the same day we checked in.

There was no coffee and when we contacted the property manager, they were surprised and said the owner keeps it in the pantry. However, the pantry, along with every closet, was locked.

This is a lovely home. Very clean and inviting. I would definitely stay here again.
